Dumbledore's desk - Personal project

I started this project with a quick and rough sketch in photoshop to figure out which assets I would have to make and decide on possible layouts for the items on the desk.

After that I jumped into maya and blocked everything out using primitives. Once my proportions and general layout were set, I started modeling everything using box-modeling techniques, with the exception of the sorting hat and desk, which I detailed and decimated in Zbrush.

Then I baked and textured everything in substance painter and then exported my texture maps and lit my scene using Renderman for Maya.
